Microsoft Zune HD
Could this be another heir to claim the iPod’s “king of MP3 players” throne? Microsoft has been diligently pushing their way to a the forefront of MP3 products with their Zune product line. However, they decided to kick things up a notch with the newly introduced Zune HD.
The new Zune HD offers features you won’t find on the iPod Touch. Specifically, a 3.3 inch touchscreen OLED display, HD Video output and HD Radio. It also features WiFi and utilized Microsoft’s web browser, Internet Explorer. There’s also an onscreen keyboard and so much more.
But the verdict is still out there, will the new Zune HD be Microsoft’s golden spoon? That remains to be seen, and with the iPod’s control over the market, it’ll be a difficult task to breakthrough.












HD radio needs time to catch on. It continues to be a little confusing to some folks, but as with most new technology, it takes time and momentum for it to take hold. As larger companies, like Mercedes and Microsoft jump on board and promote this new HD technology with their products, more consumers will grow to appreciate the benefits and become comfortable with it.
